Change Application

Description

You can change which Application an existing program uses. The program then references the selected Application's configuration and safety settings.

 
To change a program's Application

  1. In System Manager, on the Programs tab, select the program.

  2. Open the program context menu and tap Change Application.

  3. In the dialog, select the Application the program should use. The program's current Application is not shown in the list.

  4. Tap Continue. The program now uses the selected Application.

A program that is valid in one Application is not necessarily valid in another. If the program uses a grid, TCP, or other Application-specific resource from one Application but is changed to use another Application, the program can become invalid. It is your responsibility to ensure that the program behaves as expected after changing Application.
