set_power_output(alias, voltage)

Sets the voltage for the power supply that delivers power to the connector plug on the tool flange of the robot.

Supported voltages depend on the tool flange type and the connector. Refer to the robot arm user manual. Two independent power outputs are on g-Series robot arms only.

Power on the T0 connector can be set to 0, 12, or 24 V.

Power on the T2 connector can be set to 0, 24, or 48 V.

A runtime exception stops the program if the voltage is outside the supported range.

See also get_power_output(alias) and I/O labels.

Parameters

alias: The symbolic name of the pin (string). It can represent one of the tool power outputs.

voltage: Actual voltage to set on the output (number).

Example command: set_power_output("T0_V", 24)

  • Example Parameters:
    • Set 24 V on power pins on the T0 connector: set_power_output("T0_V", 24)

Replaces: set_tool_voltage.
