Introduced at SW 10.15 and 5.26. This script is backward compatible with all previous SW and HW versions.

Sets the output mode of the digital output pin. This function is only applicable to pins on the tool M8 I/O connector.

Parameters

alias: The symbolic name of the pin (string). It can represent one of the tool digital output pins.

mode: Number. One of the following values:

• 1 = Sinking (NPN)
• 2 = Sourcing (PNP)
• 3 = Push-Pull

Example command: set_digital_output_mode("T0_DO0", 2)

• Example Parameters:
  • Configure tool digital output pin 0 as PNP: set_digital_output_mode("T0_DO0", 2)
