get_power_output(alias)

Unified I/O. Introduced at SW 10.15 and 5.26. This script is backward compatible with all previous SW and HW versions.

Returns the voltage set on the tool power output.

Parameters

alias: The symbolic name of the pin (string). It can represent one of the tool power outputs.

Return Value

The voltage set on the selected tool power output.

Example command: v_gripper = get_power_output("T2_V")

  • Example Parameters:
    • Read the voltage applied to the T2 4-pin M8 tool connector: v_gripper = get_power_output("T2_V")
