Payload Range
| Description |
Payload Range in the Safety Configuration defines the allowed payload configurations by weight and center of gravity. Use these limits to restrict the payloads permitted for a given application and ensure safe robot operation. By default, the applied payload range exceeds the robot model's rated capabilities, so normal operation does not trigger a safety violation.

When you use the default configuration, a warning appears in the Safety Overview dialog. It is recommended that you specify an allowed payload range to gain greater control over safe operation.
