Update

Description

When you receive your robot, update the software to the most recent version released by Universal Robots.

For the latest software update, see Download Latest Software.

 
Updating the software

Update the software as follows:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu in the main navigation.

  2. Go to Update in the general settings.

  3. Insert the USB drive with the software update into the Control Box.

  4. Unlock and tap the Check for update button.

Robot Tools

You can use Robot Tools for additional robot image actions related to software updates:

Installing a robot image with Robot Tools overwrites the robot disk and replaces the software on the Control Box.

Before you use Robot Tools to install, restore, or erase, back up any data that you want to keep.
