release notes

Bug Fixes:

  1. Rescan can occasionally report a false negative when calculating the position of a grasped part
  2. The UI can freeze after tapping the new scan button additions to the Bin and Tool Page
  3. Custom Program Validator settings can be unintentionally deleted during a Polyscope update.

New or Modified Features:

  1. Significant performance improvement for perception recording output.
    • Users can now choose to export a perception recording to the AMM's USB port instead of the teach pendant on the "Record/Manage Perception Data" Page presented to the user at time of export.
    • Performance improvements up to 95.5% have been measured.
  2. Users can now easily remove any 3D model associated with any Environment instance.
    • Select the Environment instance in the Environment setup Page, navigate to the Advanced tab and tap the "Delete 3D Model" button.
  3. Multiple UX improvements to the installer's page layout.
  4. If a matched part is found to be in collision with the bin floor, consider that match to be a false positive.
    • This feature is experimental and turned off by default.
    • This solution may lead to improved bin yield for some setups.
