What is the maximum temperature the robot can work in
Created on August 25th, 2015.
The maximum allowed environment temperature the robot can be within is 50oC, if you need higher temperatures, be aware of damage to the robot parts and we advise the use of protection covers when it comes to temperatures closer to its limits.
Embedded to the robot intelligence, we have sensors that prevent the robot from running at (unusual) conditions that might put the robot in danger due to high temperatures, the robot has for its joints, a limiting factor that sense temperatures above 85oC (internal robot temperature) which causes a shutdown on its system to prevent any damage. This situation is very serious and will cause excessive wear on the brake system, so never allow the robot for running at higher temperatures than specified. Any temperature above 50oC will be put as a warning in the log from the joint safety processor. The robot cannot Boot when it's sensing a very high temperature in its sensors.
