Dual Work Zones
Created date: October 6th, 2023
Example is valid for: SW 5.14 and higher
Note that older or newer software versions may behave differently.
In the attached example, we will be configuring a dual work zone area, using a safety plane to trigger reduced mode on the UR robot, and using this to let the configurable outputs signal the SICK nanoScan3 to switch between two different field sets.
NOTE
This setup will result in losing the ability to use Reduced Mode as intended, i.e., reducing the speed and force of the robot. Furthermore, it will use up two pairs of Configurable Outputs (CO).
