UR18
Compact 18 kg payload, 950 mm reach
The UR18 offers strength and agility in a 39 kg frame that supports larger end effectors without weighing down gantry systems. Speeds up to 4 m/s keep pick-and-place cycle times short in fast-paced deployments.

Performance joints
Move faster, reliably: the new joint design increases all joint torques by approximately 25% and joint speeds by as much as 65% (UR3e). To improve performance and quality, the new joints require approximately half the parts compared to e-Series. This 50% part reduction brings a big leap in reliability, resulting in decreased service requests and minimized downtime.
Tapered tubes
Lift more across greater distances. Updated geometry with tapered tubes delivers stiffer tubes and stiffer joint housing, compared to the cylindrical tubes used previously.
LED light ring
Programmable LED status indicator means alerts are received at-a-glance, giving operators confidence that downtime is minimized. Besides three default configurations to comply with ISO 10218, the user can switch the light off.
Environmental Rating: IP65 & Cleanroom Class 4
With IP65 and Cleanroom certifications, the UR Series is built to thrive in more environments – including those with harsh conditions or strict cleanliness standards. IP65 provides protection against dust ingress (“dust-tight”) and is protected from nozzle-projected water from any direction – important in environments involving heavy dust or low-pressure water jets. ISO Class 4 Cleanroom is a highly controlled environment permitting a maximum of 10,000 particles per cubic meter of air – often required in semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Tool connector
Integrated M8 8-pin tool connector delivers power, I/O, and communication directly at the flange – reducing cabling, simplifying integration, and enabling smarter end-effectors. M8, 8-pin female connector; ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6; 12 V or 24 V power supply at the tool; [2] Digital I/Os, configured as sinking or sourcing (NPN / PNP); [2] Analog inputs for sensors or [1] RS-485 communication; Safety ready architecture. Electrical Specifications – UR18 Tool Connector.
