Olympus Technologies has been working in robotics since 1991,  designing and implementing bespoke automation solutions. As an early adopter of Universal Robots in the UK, we have gained significant experience and expertise as integrators of Universal Robots across a diverse set of applications.  Since 2018 UR+ products and our own URCaps have been an essential part of many solutions provided to our customers. As such, we understand how to create a functional URCap but also how to create software that is user friendly and well documented. Our team of dedicated and fluent java developers with backgrounds in maths and physics we are well placed to create a strong solution to a wide variety of problems.

/URCaps Curriculum:

Olympus Technologies’ integration and URCap development experience includes…

• Integration with vision systems, linear drive controls, welding equipment, pneumatics, sensors and PLCs,
• Control of external hardware via 24V IO, Modbus TCP and socket communication,
• Java Swing user interface design,
• Configuration files and data storage using the JSON file format,
• Realtime robot path calculation and manipulation.
