Ethernet IP guide – Introduction
| Description |
This guide is intended to assist with Ethernet IP communications with a Universal Robot running Polyscope 5.xx. In this example, an Allen-Bradley PLC and Studio 5000 software are being used in conjunction with a UR3e, Polyscope 5.24. This guide consists of 2 sections, Setup and Demo. In Setup, step-by-step instructions with detailed screenshots for both the Robot and AB PLC software are shown, each heading of Setup is labeled either Robot or PLC. In the Demo section, 2 projects (Demo and Alternate Demo) are shown which outline communications between robot and PLC. It is assumed that all wiring connections have been made and where possible communications have been established or confirmed.
