Teach Pendant (TP7)

Description

The TP7 is the standard Teach Pendant for the g-Series robot system. It provides a user interface for operating, programming, and monitoring the robot during installation, setup, and manual operation.

TP7 is designed as a handheld device that can be carried by a single person and used directly at the robot cell. When not in use, it can be mounted on a wall or on the Control Box using a dedicated mounting bracket.

The USB port on the TP7 can only be used to connect keyboard or mouse.

CB7 Core does not support the Universal Robots 3PE Teach pendant.

The unit includes a touchscreen interface and integrated safety controls, enabling the operator to interact with the robot and perform manual movements under controlled conditions. In configurations equipped with a 3-Position Enabling device, robot motion during manual operation requires continuous operator engagement.

TP7 has two user-configurable buttons, each of which can be assigned a Smart Skill in PolyScope X. When a button is pressed, it executes the selected Smart Skill.
