Universal Robots has announced the appointment of a new VP Service and Aftermarket, effective February 1, 2024. Anurag Thakur, who is based in Colorado, USA, has extensive experience of developing customer support having led service businesses in various technology companies.
Thakur will work with existing company leaders to continue to grow UR’s highly-regarded collaborative robot (cobot) Academy and to ensure that customers are well supported throughout their automation journey with progressive service and value added offerings.

We are committed to every customer’s success and an exciting new range of technical capabilities, from AI to predictive maintenance, will soon help us offer our customers support at a whole new level.”
