The Vanguard Torch is made for Universal Robots e-series with a URCap that allows the user to interact easily interact with the robot. A capacitive touch light displays the robot's status through various light colors. An operator can interact with the robot by touching the integrated capacitive button. This action can trigger various actions: Start program, pause program, stop program, a specific program node action and can trigger Freedrive. The Torch has customizable colors that can be mapped to the robot's state directly on the teach pendant in order to fit your industry's color code. The available LED colors are: Red, Yellow, Magenta, White, Blue, Amber and Green. The touch button is made from shock-resistant polycarbonate, and the mounting bracket is made from anodized aluminum. The torch has a IP67 rating for dust and liquid protection.
A capacitive touch button is used to receive an operators input to trigger various program actions. An integrated LED is used to visually represent the robot's status by displaying a specific color for various robot states.
The Vanguard torch uses the robot's 24VDC, and does not require any external power supplies.
