SLIDEKIT is fully compatible with the entire Universal Robot cobot range and can be controlled via integrated software interface directly on UR teach pendant. The 2.0 release of the SLIDEKIT delivers several improvements compared to the former version, like higher system reactivity and stability, lower noise in operation, integrated safety relays and optimized design for limit switches and re-lubrication points. With more than 200 units working on the field, SLIDEKIT is an established solution to effectively extend the cobot horizontal reach, with the best price/performance ratio. The installation process is simple and with few steps the system is ready to go:
1. Unbox the SLIDEKIT and fix it on the installation area
2. Mount the cobot on the carriage using the attachment holes (for any UR cobot size)
3. Connect the cables easily by matching the numbers on cables and box
4. Connect the SUB and install the URCaps plugin
5. Enable the communication in the installation tab
6. perform the one-time homing on the SLIDEKIT
7. Ready to play!
