Vention’s Robotic Welding Solution is a modular, high-flexibility ecosystem designed to automate repetitive welding tasks, allowing skilled welders to focus on high-precision requirements. The solution features a series of "Quick Start" configurations that can be customized in hours using MachineBuilder, enabling a deployment process that is 3x faster than traditional methods. Built with best-in-class components from trusted welding brands, the system integrates seamlessly with all Universal Robots cobots and multiple power source types.
The ecosystem offers six primary hardware configurations to fit various shop layouts and production volumes:
- Mobile Welding Station:
A pedestal-based unit designed for relocation between multiple weld tables.
- Compact Welding Carts:
Integrated cells customized based on storage needs and power source size.
- Multiple Welding Stations:
Scalable modular tables paired with long-reach robot arms for multi-task processing.
- 7th Axis (Floor or Overhead):
Floor-mounted rails for increased autonomy/volume, or overhead frames to simplify access to hard-to-reach areas on large workpieces.
- Safety Enclosures:
Integrated polycarbonate Tuffak weld curtains to ensure employee safety.

Features
- Carts and pedestals are designed from a customizable ecosystem of extrusions made for robotics.
- SmoothTool programming flange, compatible with all UR cobots
- Advanced welding capabilities: fine-tuning of welding parameters (e.g., speed, torch angles, and weld paths) directly from the interface
- Retrofit kits are available for seamless integration of Fronius and Miller power sources with the Universal Robots controller.
- Enclosure Panels are splatter-resistant, UV filtering to transmit 5% and polycarbonate Tuffak®️ weld curtain panels
- Robot Reach: Supports reach up to 1750mm (68.9 in) depending on the selected UR cobot.
- Welding Table Tops: Nitrided, heat-treated 48" x 30" tops featuring a 2" x 2" grid pattern and 5/8" hole diameters.
- Material Durability: Table tops are resistant to weld spatter, rust, and scratches.
- Safety Panels: Tinted transparent polycarbonate rated for 64 joules of impact energy; UV filtering transmits only 5% of visible light per AWS F2.3M:2011.
- Control Interface: Includes a dedicated Start Button with status lighting, an Arc Switch for precise control, and an Emergency Stop.
