Overview
qb SoftHand Industry is an anthropomorphic robotic hand based on soft robotics technology, designed for industrial and collaborative applications. TÜV certified according to ISO/TS 15066, it combines the adaptability of the human hand with the reliability required in production environments, ensuring safe interaction with operators, products, and machinery.
In industrial manufacturing, handling delicate, irregular, or variable objects is often a challenge for traditional rigid grippers. qb SoftHand Industry overcomes this limitation through a patented system that replicates the first synergy of the human hand, allowing all five fingers to naturally adapt to different shapes with a single control input. This reduces integration complexity and increases operational flexibility across multiple tasks.
Integrated with Universal Robots cobots, it is plug and play and easily controlled via I/O or URCap, enabling fast and intuitive deployment. It is ideal for industries such as electronics, logistics, automotive, food processing, and general manufacturing, where safety and product protection are essential.
Make your automation smarter, safer, and more versatile—equip your facility with qb SoftHand Industry today.

How Does it Work?:
qb SoftHand Industry, thanks to its patented system, replicates the first synergy of the human hand. With a single open and close command, the five fingers automatically adapt to the shape of the object, naturally distributing force and ensuring a stable grip even on delicate or irregular components. The integrated mechanical intelligence reduces the need for complex sensors or advanced programming.
Installation is simple and fast: the hand integrates with Universal Robots cobots via I/O or UDP protocol and operates with standard 24V power supply. Once mounted on the robot wrist, it can be controlled directly from the teach pendant, allowing quick configuration of opening and closing parameters and easy integration into existing workflows. This enables rapid deployment of new applications, simplifying the automation process and increasing operational flexibility.
