Olympus Bosch Rexroth Linear Slide and URCap

The Olympus Technologies Oscillation URCap software provides a set of simple programming nodes which extend the motion capabilities of a Universal Robot. It allows the user to create paths along which the robot will travel, on top of which 1 of four weaving patterns can be selected and configured. Each weave pattern contains adjustable parameters for the frequency amplitude and speed of the weave, as well as an offset angle, to provide maximum flexibility.

Olympus Technologies are proud to present the Igus Dryve D1 URCap. Designed to echo the same simplicity that is fundamental to Polyscope, controlling an Igus manipulator with a Universal Robot. The Igus Dryve D1 is a flexible control box that, thorough the power and flexibility of its web interface, is capable of controlling a vast array of Igus manipulators. Both rotary and linear modules can be easily configured, with both variants offering specifications to fit a wide array of applications, from short to long travel, light to heavyweight payload and low to high speed. The URCap will automatically adapt to the configured manipulator, allowing all motion parameters to be specified. With the ability to specify continuous rather than discrete values for position, speed and acceleration, the Igus manipulators provide maximum flexibility.  

Are your employees fed up manually loading and unloading your laser marking machine? With the Colchester Laser Marking interface, the robot gains the ability to load and start laser marking programs, then wait for the laser marking program to complete, in order to tend the finished part. The Colchester Laser Marking Interface also brings easy-to-use programming to allow a UR to control the Colchester Minilaser XL laser marker. The single programming node and single installation node allow for seamless collaboration between the UR and laser marker.

Bosch Rexroth and Olympus Technologies have created an integration between Universal Robots and the Bosch Rexroth Linear Slide Modules. The rugged integration provided by the URCap software allows a Universal Robot to easily control the linear slide unit. With the URCap control; programming concurrent motion between the slide and the robot is simple, and with password protected speed limits to ensure maximum safety functionality, the Bosch-Rexroth URCap from Olympus Technologies offers optimal protection and flexibility.
