An active compensation tool is a component of a robotic system that regulates the amount of force applied during a surface treatment process. Utilising a pneumatic system to continuously measure and adjust the applied force the component automatically compensates for any variations in the workpiece or tooling. This is achieved through the integration of our force torque sensor based, dual handed Sander Joystick.
