LumiScan BinPick is a 3D vision solution consisting of a compact sensor and software for your bin picking automation. The system allows fast and easy object handling – even for shiny or metallic surfaces and fibre composites. Its unique sensor reduces gloss as well as occlusions. With its intuitive UI, LumiScan Bin Pick can be easily set up and expanded. Available systems include the options S, M, L for every box size.
Based on detection of CAD-models, LumiScan BinPick unites the compact 3D light field sensor LumiScanX as well as the intuitive LumiScan Object Handling software. The system detects and localizes objects in any box or pile. It then senses collision-free path points to a connected UR-Cobot with zero downtimes.
The sensor LumiScanX can be installed and calibrated in a matter of minutes. For the CAD-based LumiScan Object Handling software, the same applies – depending on the number of objects, grippers and gripping points defined. The intuitive and guiding software can therefore be set up in under 10 minutes.
URCap is part of the delivery, so all new IOFirebug inputs and outputs are available to your robotic application.
