Universal Robots delivers a partly completed system. A Declaration of Incorporation (original) is provided, which may consist of the following main components:

  • The Robot Arm provides controlled motion in six axes, enabling precise positioning and orientation of tools during operation.

  • The Control Box contains the robot controller, power supply, and safety functions. It executes programs, controls motion, and provides interfaces for external equipment.

  • The Teach Pendant is the user interface for programming and operating the robot. It includes a touchscreen with PolyScope X for configuration, operation, and diagnostics.

  • Cables connect the Robot Arm, Control Box, and Teach Pendant. Correct installation is required to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety requirements.

  • PolyScope X is the graphical user interface that operates the robot arm. PolyScope X comes with built-in safety features. These must be configured and validated as part of the overall system integration, and a risk assessment is required for each robot application.
