Inxpect safety products are a smart radar system technology made for advanced industrial automation and collaborative cobots. Inxpect smart sensors enable human-machine interaction by volumetrically detecting the entry and presence of operators in dangerous areas and prevent machinery from restarting until the area is free of people. The smart sensor can be installed in any position on mobile and fixed applications and is suitable for indoor and outdoor due to its resistance to disturbances such as: dust, debris, smoke, rain, dirt and any light condition. Safety functions: restart prevention and access detection. The system consists of at least one sensor and one control unit; thanks to the URcap plugin, the user can view the status of the system inputs and outputs, the status of the sensors’ detection fields and have access to the most relevant information, e.g. diagnostics, log of events

Inxpect smart sensors are volumetric 3D safety radars certified as a Type 3 ESPE (SIL2, PLd) according to the Machinery Directive, as well as UL Listed. Inxpect Safety Radar systems are composed of a control unit and up to six smart radar sensors: high flexibility, from simple to complex scenarios.
It is possible to choose the sensor and control unit model with the technical specifications that best suits your application, in any case configuring the system is quick and easy, thanks to the user friendly Inxpect Safety Application.

Certifications and standards Inxpect SRE is a safety device operating under the Machinery Directive and meant to be used to reduce the risk associated with industrial machineries and processes.
Inxpect SRE safety performance parameters are available in section 8 of the Instruction Manual. The most relevant safety parameters are the following:
