Tool I/O Extension Unit, Multi Connect

iCOM技研のI/O拡張ユニットは、URロボットのツールI/Oを拡張することのできる製品です。デジタルI/Oは最大60点、アナログI/Oは最大30点まで拡張可能です。 iCOM技研オリジナルのURCapを使⽤すれば、拡張したツールI/Oを自由にコントロールできます。 アナログとデジタルの入出力点数をカスタマイズすることで、 様々な商品とのマルチコネクトが実現。複合作業や現場の要望に対応できます。 最大5回のツールチェンジにも対応可能です。 複数の商品をマルチにカスタマイズすることで1台のロボットを多能工化することができます。

[Expansion] Expand tool I/O by connecting to the tool connector
Tool I/O can be expanded by connecting the I/O expansion unit to the tool connector (8 pin connector) of the UR Robot.

[Multi Connect] Up to 60 input/output points can be connected
Each UR Robot's existing Tool I/O has 2 digital I/O points and 2 analog input points. When connected through the expansion unit, the number of digital I/O points can be expanded up to 60 and analog I/O points up to 30. The unit can be freely customized by combining the digital I/O cards and analog I/O cards installed in the unit.

[Simple] Tool I/O is controlled by only URCaps
The extended tool I/O can be controlled by URCaps. Instructions for signal input/output can be executed by inserting program commands. Settings can also be modified on the teach pendant screen.

[Flexibility] High flexibility
Expansion of the Tool I/O allows attaching multiple sensors and switches to the end effector. Connection to products of any manufacturer is possible, and the number of inputs/outputs and connected products can be flexibly customized.

[Productivity] Enhanced productivity
Multiple applications can be carried out by a single robot. URCaps can handle up to 5 different tool changes. Using URCaps can improve the productivity of UR robots by enabling a single robot to perform multiple tasks.

[Reduce] Wiring saving
Minimizes wiring from the control box to the end effector. Reduces wiring down to the end-effectors. A system with low complexity can be achieved.
