IOFireBug for Universal Robots is a modular I/O system for your UR applications.

The main advantage of the IOFireBug product range is high scalability and reliability. It allows you to expand your robot for up to 72 NPN digital outputs or 134 digital inputs.

URCap is provided for seamless robot integration.

How Does it Work?:

Expand your robot application with new sensors and actuators.

The IOFirebug product range comprises the IOFirebug Engine main board, equipped with 8 analogue inputs, 8 digital inputs, and 8 NPN digital outputs. The engine board can be extended by up to eight Wagon modules:

- Wagon 16I (16 digital inputs)

- Wagon 8O (8 NPN digital outputs)

The Engine unit is connected to the robot via USB. For long-distance, an RS-422 interface can be used (a converter is needed).

URCap is part of the delivery, so all new IOFirebug inputs and outputs are available to your robotic application. You can also assign specific actions (Start/Stop/Pause program or Freedrive) on digital input state or activate the digital output on the current robot state (Program state, Protective stop, etc.).

Minimum Software versions:

IOFirebug URCap 2.7.0 wirks with Polyscope 3.15+ and 5.19+

License:

One-time purchase. The IOFirebug Engine license number must be entered in the URCap.
