Panoramica
Welded steel robot workstation with nearly three times the stiffness and mass of lightweight bolt-together frames, so your cobot runs at the speed and payload you paid for. Robot-agnostic, built to order in New Hampshire, ships in 4 to 6 weeks.
The Workplace TORQ Bench is a welded steel robot workstation built so your collaborative robot can run at its rated speed, acceleration, and payload without giving up precision or repeatability.
A robot is only as fast as the structure under it. Lightweight bolted frames flex and shift under dynamic loads. Robots mounted on them are often programmed to run slower to control vibration and hold their taught positions. That lost speed is lost cycle time, and lost return on the robot investment.
TORQ removes that ceiling. Welded structural steel sub-assemblies give you nearly three times the stiffness and mass of comparable bolted frames in the same footprint. The base stays planted through every move, so the robot can run the way it was engineered to.
TORQ is robot-agnostic. It supports the robots you have already deployed and the ones you buy next. Order it fully assembled from Londonderry, New Hampshire, or ship it knocked down with about one fifth the assembly labor of a comparable bolt-together bench. Configure your TORQ Bench today and give your robot the foundation it was built to run on.
Specifiche
How Does it Work?:
The TORQ Bench arrives fully assembled or as welded sub-assemblies that bolt together with serrated flange hardware. Mount the robot on a robot-specific offset ficture at 45, 90, or 135 degrees, or directly on the work surface. Three standard work heights are available (30 in, 36 in, 42 in), with custom heights on request. Vibration-damping leveling feet let you fine-tune the height by up to one inch. Locking swivel casters are optional for mobile configurations. The bench has provisions for internal and external peripherals, including end-of-arm tooling routing, cable management, vision mounting, air, power, and data. Configure size, color, work surface, and accessories in the online configurator, see your price and ship date, then check out. Standard configurations ship in 4 to 6 weeks.

Funzionalità
- Full rated performance: Run your robot at the speeds and accelerations it is rated for. The base never forces you to slow it down to protect accuracy.
- Stiffness and mass: Structural steel has an elastic modulus of approximately 200 GPa and a density of 7.85 g/cm³. Aluminum comes in at about 69 GPa and 2.70 g/cm³, so steel is roughly three times higher on both. Welded construction puts that material to work in the same footprint, and the base holds its position through every load cycle.
- Robot agnostic: Compatible with UR e-Series and UR Series robots, and supports their full performance. One base across every robot you integrate. Change robots without changing the foundation.
- One-fifth the assembly labor: Welded sub-assemblies bolt together with about one fifth the labor of a comparable bolt-together bench, based on that frame supplier's own published assembly estimate. Or order it fully assembled, with no frame to build at all.
- Serrated flange joints: Where the welded sub-assemblies join, serrated flanges bite into the steel instead of relying on bolt torque alone. The joint holds without the micro-slip that loosens preload in conventional bolted frames over time.
- Built in the USA: Engineered and manufactured in Londonderry, New Hampshire from US-sourced steel. No import freight, tariffs, customs, or lead-time risk. WMS has been building welded steel work environments since 1950.
- Published warranty: Lifetime on the welded steel frame for the original owner. Five years on work surfaces and ESD laminate. Read the warranty before you spend a dollar.
