3D Laser Profiler
The ALSONTECH AT-S1000-0XB 3D laser profiler series is designed to provide high-speed dynamic vision guidance for collaborative robot applications involving moving objects. Optimized for real-time 3D imaging, the system continuously captures the position and orientation of workpieces and provides accurate coordinates and offset compensation for robot motion. This enables reliable vision-guided picking, positioning, and inspection of moving objects while compensating for variations in part presentation that can reduce automation accuracy.
Aperçu
The ALSONTECH AT-S1000-0XB 3D laser profiler series is designed to provide high-speed dynamic vision guidance for collaborative robot applications involving moving objects. Optimized for real-time 3D imaging, the system continuously captures the position and orientation of workpieces and provides accurate coordinates and offset compensation for robot motion. This enables reliable vision-guided picking, positioning, and inspection of moving objects while compensating for variations in part presentation that can reduce automation accuracy.
Typical applications include conveyor tracking, robotic picking of moving workpieces, parcel sorting and selection, dynamic inspection, and vehicle body positioning on automotive production lines. When integrated with Universal Robots (UR) collaborative robots, the solution enables high-speed vision-guided automation with greater flexibility, positioning accuracy, and production efficiency.
The AT-S1000-0XB 3D laser profiler series combines excellent compatibility with reflective metal surfaces, black or dark materials, and other challenging workpiece characteristics. With up to 3,200 profile points per scan, the system generates high-quality point cloud data even during continuous motion, ensuring reliable positioning performance. Scan rates of up to 9,000 Hz allow the profiler to accommodate a wide range of conveyor speeds commonly found in industrial production environments.
Optimized for UR Gen7
When paired with UR Gen7 collaborative robots, the AT-S1000-0XB series delivers a tightly integrated user experience through the new PolyScope X platform and the latest ALSONTECH URCap, enabling faster deployment of high-speed vision-guided applications.
Key integration benefits include:
- Native support for the UR Gen 7 tool I/O interface.
- Optimized support for both Eye-in-Hand and Eye-to-Hand configurations.
- Simplified configuration of dynamic vision applications, including conveyor tracking and moving-object positioning.
- Vision project management directly within PolyScope X, reducing commissioning and maintenance time.
- Customizable Smart Panels and built-in Smart Skills for faster, more intuitive operation.
- Reduced programming effort, faster commissioning, and simplified production changeovers.
Together, these capabilities help manufacturers deploy dynamic robotic automation more efficiently while reducing engineering effort and system integration complexity.
The system supports both Eye-in-Hand and Eye-to-Hand configurations. Through the dedicated ALSONTECH URCap and built-in hand-eye calibration tools, users can complete installation, calibration, and basic application setup in a short time. Extensive programming is not required, allowing production personnel to deploy and operate the system quickly after basic training. This streamlined workflow enables manufacturers of all sizes to implement high-speed vision-guided automation more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Whether you are automating conveyor tracking, dynamic picking, parcel sorting, inline inspection, or other high-speed robotic applications, ALSONTECH and Universal Robots provide an integrated solution that helps increase throughput, improve production flexibility, and simplify automation deployment.
