Aperçu

ALSONTECH offers a range of compact, highly integrated fringe structured light 3D cameras designed to provide high-precision vision guidance for collaborative robots. Supporting multiple installation methods, these cameras combine high accuracy, high-speed 3D imaging, and excellent adaptability to meet the requirements of modern industrial automation. When integrated with Universal Robots (UR) collaborative robots, ALSONTECH structured light 3D vision solutions can achieve sub-millimeter positioning accuracy for a wide variety of robotic applications.

ALSONTECH industrial 3D cameras are designed to improve automation flexibility and operational efficiency in applications such as machine tending, random bin picking, depalletizing, material handling, precision assembly, robotic path planning, and 3D measurement. By capturing high-quality 3D data and calculating the real-time position and orientation of workpieces, the system provides accurate coordinates and offset compensation for robot motion. This enables robots to handle variations in part presentation, positioning, stacking conditions, and material flow without requiring dedicated fixtures or frequent manual adjustments. As a result, manufacturers can simplify product changeovers, support mixed-model production, reduce tooling costs, and maximize the utilization of robotic automation equipment.

The AT-S1000-0XC fringe structured light 3D camera series is built on ALSONTECH's proven structured light imaging technology, delivering stable positioning performance across a wide range of industrial workpieces and manufacturing environments. Validated through more than 10 years of industrial deployment and over 12,000 application implementations, the technology generates dense, complete, and highly detailed point cloud data, providing reliable positioning coordinates and robot guidance for demanding automation applications. The upgraded blue-light structured light technology offers excellent compatibility with workpieces of various colors, including moderately reflective surfaces, making it well suited for typical manufacturing environments.

Optimized for UR Gen7

When paired with UR Gen7 collaborative robots, the AT-S1000-0XC series delivers a tightly integrated user experience through the new PolyScope X platform and the latest ALSONTECH URCap, helping users deploy vision-guided automation faster and with less engineering effort.

Key integration benefits include:

  • Native support for the UR Gen 7 tool I/O interface, simplifying system integration and connectivity.
  • Optimized lightweight design for Eye-in-Hand deployment, reducing payload requirements while improving robot agility.
  • Fast robot-to-vision calibration directly from the teach pendant using the ALSONTECH URCap.
  • Part template creation, pick position teaching, and vision project management directly within PolyScope X.
  • Customizable Smart Panels and built-in Smart Skills for faster, more intuitive operation.
  • Simplified installation, faster commissioning, and quicker product changeovers with minimal programming.

Together, these capabilities reduce integration complexity, shorten deployment time, and enable manufacturers to implement flexible robotic automation more efficiently.

The system supports both Eye-in-Hand and Eye-to-Hand configurations. Through the dedicated ALSONTECH URCap and built-in hand-eye calibration tools, users can complete installation, calibration, and basic application setup in approximately one hour. Extensive programming is not required, allowing production personnel to deploy applications quickly after only basic training. This streamlined workflow enables manufacturers of all sizes to implement advanced robotic automation more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Whether you are automating machine tending, material handling, assembly, precision handling, or other vision-guided robotic applications, ALSONTECH and Universal Robots provide an integrated solution that helps increase productivity, improve manufacturing flexibility, and simplify automation deployment.
