ARU-R2A1-UR

ARU-R2A1-UR is the automated blind riveting system for Universal Cobot. It automates the entire process from supplying blind rivets to riveting and mandrel ejection with stability.

This system consists of a pneumatic riveter as the end effector, a rivet feeder and a joint connecting the riveter with the robot.

Using this system with Universal Cobot can cut manual tasks in repetitive riveting processes and streamline it with stability at workshop.

How Does it Work?:

• Install the pneumatic riveter to Cobot first and adjust the feeder and related units to each proper position.
• Keep a record of rivet supply position, set up position and riveting point while designing the program. Put rivets in the feeder and turn on riveter’s vacuum before operation.
• During operation, Cobot moves the riveter to the rivet supply position and the feeder supplies a rivet to the riveter by air.
• Once the rivet is installed on the riveter, a sensor confirms the status by position automatically.
• Cobot moves the riveter to the riveting point and the riveter sets the rivet.
• After riveting, a spent mandrel gets ejected through the discharge route.
• It allows you to do tasks for you automatically by repeating the series of procedures.

• Automated Riveting Process
  • The entire riveting process can be automated from supplying rivets to the riveter to riveting and mandrel ejection.
  • The system can also detect rivet and mandrel jams, and alerts as an error.

  • It can keep supplying rivets to the riveter by loading rivets in advance.
• Lightweight End Effector
