The Multi Driver URCap is an innovative software platform that allows the user to program up to three screwdrivers on a single robot. This allows for multiple tightening programs for assembly operations to happen automatically and simultaneously within one manufacturing station, with little to no operator supervision.
The URCap is compatible with most assembly tool brands and controllers on the market. Tools can be configured separately in the Multi-Driver Tool Setup. This dynamic system saves programming time and allows easy integration of existing tool kits.
The modular mounting system has several mounting options for the screwdrivers and other EOT’s such as grippers or dispensers. This makes it possible for one robot to accomplish a complete assembly process on its own.

Integrated’s Multi-Driver Screw driving solution allows for a quick and easy setup of up to (3) screwdriving systems with your Universal Robot. The Integrated URcap saves programing time by consolidating multiple programing steps into a single easy to use programing node for each assembly tool. The Integrated Modular Mounting Brackets can be oriented in several different positions to provide many different screwdriver alignment configurations.
Connecting each of the assembly tools to the robot's I/O ports enables a cross communication between the tools and the robot to optimizes the tightening process. The robot will be able to select which tool and individual tightening program to run for each screwdriver thereby tailoring your tightening process to each fasteners’ individual requirement. Communication from the tools to the robot will confirm fastener installation status (ok and nok). Downforce at the tool and the max travel speed can be set for precise following of the screw as it is driven down to torque.
