InPicker is a universal pick place system which can solve all kinds of picking applications across industries, from the simplest unit picking tasks to the most complex applications, such as random bin picking. It is available in two versions. One is called InPicker InHand, the other InPicker Fixed. The InPicker system is compatible with multiple 2D/3D machine vision and imaging technologies that provide a wide variety of product inspection applications. InPicker also employs deep learning object detection and location algorithms for picking CAD-less, unknown objects. The possibility of using the system continuously during three daily work shifts makes it especially convenient in non-stop production environments and guarantees a rapid return on investment.
Based on Vision Guided Robotics (VGR), InPicker can recognize and determine the position of any objects relevant for the application accurately and reliably, regardless of their shape, size, color, material, or surface. Objects can be either organized in a structured or semi-structured form, or randomly placed in bulk filled bins, boxes, racks, or conveyors. With the URcap provided, you can interactively define a robot program to perform the bin picking task.
After the target object is selected, InPicker calculates the full trajectory and grasping points from pick-up to drop-off while avoiding any potential singularities and collisions. Trajectory and grasping points are guaranteed to be reachable by the robot. Objects are then placed on a feeder, conveyor, or sorter for further processing in manufacturing.
