Welders are becoming increasingly rare. To compensate for this lack of welders, GYS has created the 'GYS URCap MIG' - an interface that simplifies the use of Universal Robots for welding. The welder can teach the robots how to weld which allows him to be relieved from the most tedious and repetitive weldings.
The robot’s programming is simplified to three steps.
During the second step, you will have access to all setting regarding welding. You will be able to create your belting trajectory and choose whether or not you want to do hardfacing and multi-layering. In the Hardfacing and Belting parts, you will be able to set up your welding conditions as well as your robot speed. This step will also give you access to additional command on the power source such as wire feeding, MMI lock/unlock of a Simulation mode for instance.
This URCap can only work with GYS’s welding material. To use it you will need a GYS power source from the Neopulse Range as well as a GYS communication module, the SAM-1N.
In addition to the URCap GYS also offers different cobot packs that are consisted of:
You can also add options like:
Those cobot packs are just some options of the configuration you can use your cobot with GYS’s URcap in. You can select any power sources from the Neopulse range (from 320A to 500A) as well as a robotic or a manual wirefeeder and your own robotic welding torch.
Automate your MIG/MAG hardfacing and welding jobs with the powerful programmable GYS URCap. Compatible with all GYS robotic MIG/MAG power sources.
