Integrated in a matter of seconds: Universal Robots presents mobile Plug-and-Produce solutions at Hannover Messe 2018.
At the Hannover Messe 2018, which takes place next week April 23-27, Universal Robots will be demonstrating how 'Plug-and-Produce' facilitates simple and flexible automation solution implementation. You can find us in Hall 17, booth B32.
Universal Robots will be displaying practical application examples to show how versatile, swiftly integrated components are allowing companies to successfully meet challenges, such as a growing variety of products and increasingly flexible batch sizes. Most of the applications' accessories come from our Universal Robots+ ecosystem, which stands for especially swift and cost-efficient automation.
"At our booth, fair visitors will see for themselves that 'Plug-and-Produce’ is a reality, thanks to our UR+ ecosystem. It offers access to a constantly growing number of grippers, sensors, software and additional accessories, all of which are guaranteed to be implementable via Plug-and-Play. This reduces installation time and costs for automation solutions and consequently makes them a realistic option, including for small and medium-sized companies," says Helmut Schmid, General Manager for Universal Robots in Western Europe.
Easy integration as the governing principle:
UR partners will demonstrate their own applications
In addition to Universal Robots’ own presentations, our partners will also be offering demonstrations to show how simple automation can be. For example, numerous additional application examples involving UR+ products can be seen at the booths of ArtiMinds Robotics (Hall 6, booth D30), Blue Danube Robotics (Hall 17, booth D10), igus (Hall 16, booth A18), LEONI protec cable systems (Hall 17, booth E42/7), Schunk (Hall 17, booth B40), and Schmalz (Hall 17, booth E26).
