The CLAMPBOOSTER expands the cobot's/robot's capabilities by adding a drive for the CNC vises. This allows the automated clamping and unclamping of workpieces with manual vises. It´s a patented EOAT ensuring an efficient and reliable performance in high-precision clamping operations by just retrofitting existing machinery. Interchangeable adapters make it compatible with almost all vise systems available on the market. This makes robot automation of CNC machines less complicated and less cost-intensive.
Docked directly onto the vice, the CLAMPBOOSTER recognises autonomously whether the vice in the machine is closed or open thanks to its integrated sensor system. It reacts accordingly by automatically closing or opening the clamping device. No command from the robot is necessary. The CLAMPBOOSTER then communicates to the robot that the production process can continue.
