Replacing Robot Arm Joints

The replacement procedure applies to all joints, tool mounting brackets, and tool mounting brackets with force/torque sensors. Failure to support the joint(s) while screws are removed can result in equipment damage.
Failure to test the new joint after replacement can lead to damage to property and/or equipment.

| Minimum SW Requirement |
For robots with joint size 5, a minimum of SW version 10.12 is required. Upgrade to version 10.12 or newer before installing or replacing the joint.
