Electrical Installation: AC for OEM CB with cable extension

Description

The OEM CB with cable extension uses the same AC electrical installation described in the previous section. However additional items are required to attach the cable extension.

Installing or maintaining equipment connected to a power source can lead to electric shock.

  • Disconnect the equipment from the power source before installation or maintenance.
 

You need the following items to connect the wires:

  • The WAGO 831 four-pole female connector (included)
  • A flat-bladed screwdriver, blade 5.5 x 0.8 mm. For example: WAGO 210-721
  • Three wires with ferrule
  • Four M4 screws (not included)

How to Connect Wires to the Connector

Description

This section describes how to connect wires to a connector with locking levers:
 
  1. Insert the screwdriver into a flat slot next to a connector hole.
  2. Push the screwdriver until the clamp inside the hole opens. Keep the screwdriver in the slot, as shown.

  3. Insert the wire ferrule into the open hole.
  4. Ensure that the wire ferrule is firmly placed, remove the screwdriver to close the hole.
