SmoothTool is a cobot welding package that is specifically designed for the UR arm. It is incredibly user-friendly and simplifies the programming of advanced welds, making it easy and intuitive to use. The package also provides several advanced welding functions to the robot, including Touch Sense, Weaving patterns, Multipass, Offset, Tacking, Stitching, an Angle System, a 3D Universe, and more.
SmoothTool is compatible with all UR robots and comes with a programming flange that is used to Freedrive the robot and teach the welding path.
The software comes with a list of pre-integrated power sources that enable advanced features, but SmoothTool can be integrated with virtually any kind of welding power source, by using the RetroFit Kit by Smooth Robotics.
