Safety Input Function Warnings

A safety input function warning appears when you remove the Safeguard Reset assignment, or when you configure Automatic Mode Safeguard Stop without Automatic Mode Safeguard Reset.

A warning appears in the Safety Configuration when you remove the Safeguard Reset function assignment. The warning remains until you reassign it to a safety input.

The same warning appears in the Safety Overview. The Safeguard Reset function is recommended, but not required. It prevents immediate robot motion when a Safeguard Stop is cleared.

A warning appears in the Safety Configuration when you assign Automatic Mode Safeguard Stop without also assigning Automatic Mode Safeguard Reset. The warning remains until you either assign Automatic Mode Safeguard Reset to a safety input or remove the Automatic Mode Safeguard Stop assignment.
