MultiGrip Gripper by VersaBuilt
MultiGrip is VersaBuilt’s patented CNC Workholding Technology. Compared to general purpose grippers, the MultiGrip Gripper is stronger and includes features that improve the efficiency of CNC machine tending. With the included adjustable gripper fingers, the MultiGrip Gripper can be used like traditional grippers but with the clamping force to pick up parts up to the max 16kg payload of the UR16e robot. When used with VersaBuilt's MultiGrip Machineable Jaws and Vise system, the MultiGrip Gripper enables processing of multi-operation parts and improves CNC automation efficiency by reducing setup time and fixturing costs.
The MultiGrip Gripper is part of VersaBuilt’s patented MultiGrip Technology. MultiGrip is a flexible, easy to use, quick-change workholding solution optimized for robotic machine tending. MultiGrip enables multi-op and multi-part processing without operator intervention. How does it work?
The MultiGrip Gripper is a pneumatically actuated mechanism that is used to manipulate MultiGrip Machinable Jaws and parts in and out of a CNC machine for processing.
