The VISIONSCANNER2 is a smart triangulation sensor, robust against extraneous light, specifically developed for robot guidance from 1D to 6D and quality inspection tasks. It allows to optimize the robot position in the pertaining process. Tolerances in product or in the position of the product can be compensated. Additionally it can check and protocol geometrical features of the product. The parameter setting of the system and integration is very simple through the URCaps interface.
Basically, the system can be used in a wide range of robotic applications.
