The Cobot palletizing tool (CPT) is a compact solution for palletizing boxed-in products using cobots. Its multi-zone gripper surface enables irregular as well as multiple picks in one move. Combined with its light weight, the wear on the robot is reduced, increasing its lifetime. Piab's Kenos® KCS gripper enables a collaborative robot (cobot) that can handle just about anything, anywhere, at any time. This makes it the ideal ”co-working” tool, especially for small businesses, where flexibility is essential. Originally developed together with a leading cobot manufacturer as a tailor-made automation tool for one customer, the resulting vacuum gripper cobot proved so successful that Piab decided to offer it more widely.

The Kenos® Sack Gripper (KSG) is a dedicated solution to handle hard and soft bags usually dropped by conventional foam grippers and suction cups. It can be configured as you wish. Changing not only the size of the cup but also the vacuum generation, internal or deported, or the performance of the foam between three types of rings. This gripper can work as well with cement bags in a dusty environment as with wrapped food products on a packaging line. The gripper comes with the fixture, the control valve, and the URCap plugin for seamless integration.  

The Kenos®️FlexiGrip (KFG) is a vacuum foam gripper that can be used as a single gripper on robots. Its foam surface offers the versatility to pick a variety of different products without adjustment. Its modular design provides the flexibility for fast and easy set-up in case of product changes as well as simple integration in to existing equipment. Available in round or rectangular format with flow restriction, check valve or bag gripping technology, the KFG offers a stable and rigid grip even on uneven, rough, structured or textured surfaces and can be used to pick up objects of porous or non-porous materials.

The Kenos®️ SafeLight vacuum foam gripper is a robust and simple solution for a broad range of purposes, particularly palletizing in heavy duty applications in rugged and dusty environments. Thanks to its special design of a carbon fiber structure holding a foam made body, it is extremely lightweight allowing to make maximum use of the robot payload. Additionally, this design makes it a naturally adapted solution for collaborative applications. The KSL is available with check valve or flow restriction technology.  

Piab’s piCOBOT® L is a powerful vacuum pump unit for maximum usage of a cobot’s/small robot’s capacity of up to 16 kg even in harsh environments.
