Quick System Start

Before using the PolyScope , verify that the robot arm and Control Box are correctly installed.
This is how you quickly start up the robot.

On the Teach Pendant, press the emergency stop button.

On the Teach Pendant, press the power button and allow the system to start, displaying text on the PolyScope.

A popup appears on the touch screen indicating that the system is ready and that the robot must be initialized.

In the popup dialog, tap Go to Initialize Screen to access the Initialize screen.

Unlock the emergency stop button to change the robot state from Emergency Stopped to Power off.

Step outside the reach (workspace) of the robot.

On the Initialize Robot screen, tap the ON button and allow the robot state to change to Idle.

In the Payload field, in Active Payload, verify the payload mass. You can also verify that the mounting position is correct, in the Robot field.

Tap the Start button, for the robot to release its brake system. The robot vibrates and makes clicking sounds, indicating it is ready to be programmed.
