Read this prior to updating robot software:

It is recommended to always update to latest version of the software, as each new release will fix bugs, add new features, and in general improve performance.

We advise you to thoroughly read the release notes before doing an update, for information on new features and improvements. Release Notes for latest software version can be found HERE

Downgrading software is not supported. Please perform a backup before updating.

If you robot is currently running PolyScope VERSION 5.5.1 OR below, you must first consult OUR LEGACY DOWNLOAD PAGE for instructions and downloads related to legacy software versions.

REMEMBER: ALWAYS AFTER INSTALLING AN UPDATE, YOU NEED TO POWER ON THE MOTORS SO THE FULL UPDATE IS COMPLETED BEFORE GOING TO THE NEXT SOFTWARE UPDATE IF INCREMENTALLY DOING SO. SKIPPING THIS STEP CAN HAVE INFLUENCE ON THE FINAL SOFTWARE UPDATE COMPLETION.

Please consult the Service Manual for important instructions on how to perform software updates. The Service Manual can be downloaded from this website.

NOTE: Internet Explorer will in some instances automatically detect the .urup file as an .xml file due to "intelligent" MIME handling of file types. If this is the case, make sure to select Save as type: All Files and then manually enter the correct file name and extension, ie. update.5.x.x.x.urup

PLEASE INSTALL UPDATES INCREMENTALLY UNTIL POLYSCOPE VERSION 5.5.1 (If you robot has previous versions). AFTER INSTALLING 5.5.1, DIRECT INSTALL LATEST AVAILABLE POLYSCOPE VERSION.

YOU MUST TURN ON MOTORS AFTER EVERY UPDATE INSTALLATION - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT.
