Universal Robots announces new Chief Commercial Officer

Universal Robots has announced the appointment of Stacey Moser as its new Chief Commercial Officer, effective June 1, 2023. Stacey succeeds Mathias Wiklund, who is leaving after four successful years with the company

Under Wiklund’s commercial leadership since 2019, Universal Robots experienced significant growth, increasing its annual revenue by 29% and doubling its number of employees. “The company has seen impressive growth during the time Mathias has been our CCO,” says President Kim Povlsen. “He has extended the company’s global reach, developed our partner ecosystem and opened new regional offices across the world, positioning us for further success. We thank him for his contribution.”

Incoming CCO Stacey Moser brings with her an impressive track record of success in the technology industry. She joins from General Electric (GE), where she was Chief Commercial Officer of Digital Grid Software, and previously served as VP, Global Sales & Operations at Tektronix, a Fortive Company. Moser holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, and is multilingual, having lived in Europe at various times.

In her new role as CCO, Moser will be responsible for leading Universal Robots’ commercial organization into its next phase of growth and will report into President Kim Povlsen.

“Stacey is a well-established industry leader with a deep understanding of driving transformation and leading innovation within hardware and software businesses with a global scope. We are confident that her strategic vision, team-oriented leadership, and drive will help shape Universal Robots at a pivotal time for the industry’s development,” continues Povlsen.

“The robotics industry is an incredibly exciting one, at the core of problem solving and innovation” says Moser. “Universal Robots’ vision of creating better outcomes for humans through robotics and automation is one that appeals directly to me, and I see huge potential to grow and scale the company, building on the strong foundations laid by Mathias and the company to date.”
